I. Why Videshway Exists

Iremember the exact moment I decided to build Videshway. I was sitting in a small room in Jaipur, staring at a university application portal I barely understood, with no one around me who had been through this before. My school didn't have a counsellor. My parents were supportive but lost. And every consultant I spoke to seemed more interested in their commission than in my future.

I got through it — eventually. I received my admit to Oxford. But the process left a mark. Not because it was hard, but because it was unnecessarily hard. The information existed. The pathways existed. What was missing was someone who would sit with me, understand who I was, and help me build a plan that was actually mine.

That's why Videshway exists. Not to run a consultancy. Not to process applications. But to give every student in India — in Jaipur, in Jabalpur, in any city — the same quality of guidance that students at elite schools in Delhi or Mumbai take for granted. The gap isn't talent. It's access. And that's a gap we can close.

II. What We Believe About Admissions

Most families come to us believing that admissions is a process problem — that if you just know the right steps, the right deadlines, the right essay prompts, you'll get in. That's not wrong. But it's incomplete.

The students who get into the world's best universities aren't just well-prepared. They're genuinely interesting. They've built something, studied something, cared about something — and they can articulate it with precision and honesty. That's what we help students develop. Not a persona. Not a strategy. A real, defensible story.

We also believe in honesty about outcomes. No firm — not us, not anyone — can guarantee an Ivy League admit. What we can guarantee is that if you work with us, you will know yourself better, you will have a stronger profile, and you will walk into every application with a clear head and a compelling story. The admits follow from that.

III. How We Work

Videshway is not a factory. We take a small number of students each year, and we work with them deeply — from Grade 8 or 9 through their final admit. Every student has a dedicated mentor. Every plan is built from scratch. Every essay is written by the student, not by us.

We work with a small number of families each year — by introduction, referral, or direct request. Every engagement is built around the individual student. We invest deeply from day one: mentor time, strategy sessions, and programme architecture begin immediately upon enrolment.

Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of working with 500+ students across India. I've seen students who were told they weren't “good enough” for global universities go on to receive admits from MIT, Oxford, LSE, and Caltech. I've seen families who were overwhelmed by the process find clarity, confidence, and a real plan.
